 In 2009, Russia Local School Board selected Freytag & Associates, Inc. to design an addition and renovation of the school.

The new addition contains two new state-of-the-art classrooms and large computer lab. The building floor, ceiling and wall finishes were renovated to present a beautiful new appearance to the existing portions of the building. The entire building was temperature controlled and air-conditioned. The existing HVAC systems were updated and incorporated into a digital control system for overall building energy management.
